2. They Represent The Beginning of The Christmas Shopping Season

Black Friday falls on the first Friday after Thanksgiving and signals the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.

The shopping season continues for almost a week. The first Monday after it is called Cyber Monday promotes online shopping.

Along with these two big names, some other names are:

  • Small Business Saturday
  • Giving Tuesday, etc.

On Black Friday & Cyber Monday, merchants and companies provide massive discount rates on their products to lure more and more customers.

Similarly, people also shop like crazy on both of these days.

In the United States, Black Friday is nothing less than a festival for its people.

Even, most states in the country provide their employees a day of spare time to shop.
