In states like New York and Philadelphia, different organizations and people organize amazing parades on this occasion.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is considered the world’s largest parade. This has been happening since 1924 in New York City.

At the night, people with their families and friends have an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, where they have some popular dishes like roasted turkey, pumpkin pie, turkey stuffing, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, etc.

On the first Friday after the fest, the shopping season begins for Christmas and continues for almost a week. The Friday is called “Black Friday”.
