Why Is Violence More Likely To Occur In A Store On Black Friday?
For many reasons, violence is more likely to occur in a store on Black Friday.
I will share with you 2 main reasons, why in the United States of America, most of the violence occurs on this great shopping day.
1. The Gatherings of A Lot of People
The first and foremost reason is massive gatherings.
It is generally seen that whenever a lot of people gather at any one place, misunderstandings occur between some people for different reasons.
Often, these misunderstandings result in violence.
For example, in 2018, three young people in California badly attacked an old man (53 years old) on Black Friday, perceiving him as a thief.
The man was hospitalized for ten days. However, the man wasn’t a thief. Later, Police arrested the three young men.
This is just an example, there are thousands of examples like this.
2. Lack of Shopping Items And The Race For Grabbing The Best Deals
Shopping for Christmas starts in the United States after Thanksgiving day.
These days, people shop here like crazy.
Because of the tremendous discount rates, people try to grab more and more items on Black Friday.
But sometimes, for some reason (it could be a lack of items), when some people fail to get the best deals, they get involved in the fighting.
In the United States, it isn’t unusual to see people fight like cats and dogs for a product, and even die on this special shopping day.
As per some statistics, every year in the USA, more than 10 people die and 100 people get injured on Black Friday shopping.
Sometimes it feels funny and sometimes ironic.
